Update – November 19, 2018

I Deleted the whole powerpoint and re-started with very specific details. I have the go ahead from Jane at Big Brothers Big Sisters to have a Mitten and sock drive. We just need to confirm with a few places to see if they will allow it. We are hoping to stand out at the dollar store and ask for mittens and socks for children in need. I Spoke with my dad and he said he would get in touch with Napa to see if they would be willing to donate socks and mittens. I also asked my dad if his boss from Ken Miller Excavating would be willing to donate and he already provides money currently to Big Brothers Big Sisters. I will be getting into touch with all three dollar stores in Brockville. I hope that Crystal and I can have a mitten/sock drive this weekend.

I also received a lot of information from Jane down at Big Brothers Big Sisters Brockville. She provided me with all the statistics, pictures and videos. She said that it would be okay to use her information in the slides I create. this is the reasoning to why I restarted, I thought that it would be best to get specific and to the point answers. Jane also took time out of her busy schedule to have an interview with myself(Rebecca).

Rebecca- “I Would love to stay and volunteer after we are done this assignment.” I need to take my volunteer sheet in so it can be official.

Rebecca has been in contact with Jane from the Brockville, Ontario Big Brothers Big Sisters. she will be providing her with videos of all the fundraisers, stats and pictures on their trips funded by different companies and sponsors. Crystal and I have finally got the go ahead to be able to post about the company and use it’s logo! We hope to get poster from head office as well, we are in the midst of getting them and want to post them in the school.
